World Cup Watch Party: Japan vs. Netherlands

The Sounders, World Cup, and our corporate sponsor US Bank are excited to host HBS + Brown + IvyPlus alumni for the 1pm Japan vs. Netherlands game.

The venue is amazing! and is now public, so you can read the news (Sounders press release here) and see the attached photos.  This specially built World Cup barge floating in the Puget Sound by Pier 62 has a soccer field on it, jumbo screens, more secluded seating areas, games and concessions.  Gates open at 12pm and a youth soccer game will kick-off at 12:30pm.  Sounders players will be on-hand watching the game with us, so don't be late.  There will be kid themed events throughout the game.  We have the barge until 4pm.

Tickets are only $20 for adults (kids are free) and all the money will be going to a local sports charity, the RAVE Foundation  We have US Bank to thank for paying to sponsor the event!  Lots of thanks are due to a few IvyPlus alumni from various schools for pulling all this together.  Some concessions will be provided and beer / wine + other concessions will be available for purchase.

In addition to the $20 ticket price, we invite alumni to donate to the RAVE Foundation whose mission is to build soccer fields for free play and to deliver programs that use soccer, the world’s sport, to inspire and support local Seattle communities. RAVE Foundation is the official charitable arm of Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. Founded in 2013 as a 501c-3 public charity, RAVE began by serving the greater Puget Sound region.

This event is open to all IvyPlus alumni + their guests.  Folks are encouraged to bring their significant others, their children, and their children's friends.  CAPACITY IS LIMITED so book now.
